Apart from the encouraging comments I received, there is always a number of people complaining. Comments like “WTF do you know about America? You don’t live here!” or “You’re not American. You don’t have the right to tell us what to do!!!” are of the more harmless sort.
Now, I never claimed to know everything about the USA. I’m writing this blog, at least partly, to learn things I don’t know yet. I also don’t want to tell you what to do. Whenever I’ve got something on my mind though, or I feel that I can offer a different perspective, I write about it. If you don’t like it, why are you reading a blog that has “The US from an Outsider’s POV” in the header?
What I write is biased, it’s personal, it’s my opinion.
